Hi,,, i have problem with my Win7 Professiionl 64 bit. After the Pc Restart and a fews min , it is blue screen and shownig Blue Screen Error, the Error Code Is 4e

Windows 10 Pro 64-bit upgrade hangs in blue screen

Hi all

I have a 64-bit Windows 7 Pro desktop PC which I am trying to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro. The upgrade hangs in the blue screen with 'tumbling balls' and gets no further. I have not been able to recover from this position.

I downloaded the upgrade to a USB stick, which I plugged in to the target PC. This worked to a point, where Windows 10 came up, but the Start menu failed to appear.

I tried the various remedies I found in the online forums, including sfc /scannow (no errors found) and creating a new local account. (There was something else I tried between these two actions, but have now forgotten!). After creating the new local account,
I re-booted and that's when the hang occurred.

I have since tried the USB again, but that makes no difference - it still comes up to the blue screen with tumbling balls. As I watch the screen, it flickers every 15 seconds or so. It remains in this state.

Any suggestions? I don't want to lose the environment, so a clean install is the last resort. However, I can't even get back to Windows 7 at this point.
