Windows 10: Blue screen error Drive less or equal and Bad config info

I don't know why but a blue screen occured in my laptop like they were drive less or equal and bad config log info and I tried evry type of commands and I also did reset my laptop but nothing changed and day by day it worsened and now it like I can't even my windows when the logo comes the blue screen appears of bad config log info pls help anybody my laptop is like I can't even open it and whenever I open in the blue screen comes and I get irritated and I shut down my Laptop

Hi Dave,

Thanks for that advice. I moved some programs from the c dive to the d drive using your notepad tip. So I've freed up 97gb in the c drive but I'm still getting the blue screen with BAD SYSTEM CONFIG INFO error when I try to start up. I do think the full c drive was the start of the problem. Have you any 9ther suggestions for how I could tackle the blue screen problem.

Bad system config info

I keep getting a “bad system config info” error on my screen. It’s a blue screen error. I tried doing a bcdedit delete value and the path is an error. How do I fix this?

The error Bad System Config means that something is wrong with the registry on your PC and you'll need to return to a previous configuration. It would be great, if you can help us with the details requested below:

• When do you get the error message?
  
• Does the computer boot to the Desktop?
  
• What is the make and model of the computer?
  
• Are you aware of any changes made to the computer recently?
  

I would suggest you to refer the steps mentioned in the article
Error 0x74: Bad_system_config_info and see if that helps.



Note: The last step in the above article talks about performing a reset on the computer. Resetting the computer will delete all the files and applications from the computer. Do not perform reset on your computer.
