Windows 10: blue screen error: unmountable_boot_volume

I can’t get to desktop screen & system is restarting repeatedly with after blue screen

UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME" blue screen error

Whenever I start up my Toshiba Satellite C55-B5299 it would run smooth and then a blue screen would pop up and there is a message that says "UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME" and restarts. And it would run again smoothly and then the screen goes black and I can't
move my cursor and my dad says that i downloaded a virus and i didn't and my antivirus would have told me that my pc has a virus. Can anyone help me with this issue?

I had the same problem; after a restart, I received the Blue Screen with the Unmountable_Boot_Volume error and used the Media Creation Tool as recommended. After more than 15 hours of "repairing the disk", I got a Blue Screen with File:\Boot\BCD Error
code: 0xc0000098.... what now?

  Did you make any changes prior to the issue?
  

The issue might occur due to Viruses, or something changing/deleting in Registry Files, a failure during Bootup, or a corrupt file which could be due to age of a computer or viruses or somebody tampering with files.
