    I recently added more RAM to my computer and have since had it blue screen on me twice both times while watching a lecture for an online class. Below is the problem details from the reliability viewer, and I've also included the files mentioned in the "posting crash dumps after blue screen of death in Microsoft community." I would greatly appreciate help on this as I have an exam coming up and would like my laptop to not crash during it. I'd love to know if this is a problem internally or if I need to remove my new RAM the one I added is identical to the one I already had in pretty much eve

    Startup Blue Screen

    Hi Jon,

    Startup blue screen error(s) can occur if a problem causes your PC to shut down or restart unexpectedly. It could be due to the following:

    • Outdated device software drivers
    • Corrupted Windows update system files
    • Software/Security conflicts

    We would like to know some information:

    • Did you get any blue screen stop error codes?
    • Have you tried booting in Safe mode?
