Windows 10: blue screen fix after an automatic windows update

Recently I shutdown my computer from the start menu that displayed update then shut down. The following morning I attempted to boot up my computer, but received the blue screen that stated my computer has experienced a problem and will restart after collecting information. Well as of this date my computer has collected information and restarted numerous times, but I cannot get past the blue screen to my desk top. I have attempted every fix that has been suggested with no success. I originally noticed that my computer tried to load the updates but only got to 43% then stopped and cont[inued on to the the blue screen.


I believe that one or more of the windows updates has corrupted my computer hard drive. Has anyone had similar problems? If so is there a fix?

i have some questions about the windows automatic updates in windows xp pro w sp/2. ive got about forty updates they recommend , mostly for security but i only installed two today. after installing them i found them in my add/remove programs in the control panel, if i add all these updates that is a lot of space on my hd almost 1 gig. i thought that updates just updated files and not created new programs. should i innore all these update suggestions from microsoft?
