Windows 10: Blue Screen of Death caused by 'Battleye'

I have played War Thunder for years with very few issues. Today 3-13-25 I decided to play it again. It was set to directx 12 which worked fine, played a match, then decided I would like to use DX11 instead of 12 as it would run smoother. Immediately blue screen of death, with battle eye being the culprit.ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORYThis occurred each time I tried to run the game. I had done a clean install of my video drivers using DDU, I had done SFC/DISM chkdsk all the good stuff. I had deleted battle eye and reinstalled it via the War Thunder launcher.
