Windows 10: Blue screen of death

Updating mothers laptop which is operating on Windows 10 with the latest security updates, update KB50377678. Once this goes through it brings up the error message with code 0xc000021a and tries to do a repair. Ultimately it cant and then undoes the install. Have tried to run this update in a couple of times, thinking it maybe an issue but each time I get the same message, any ideas how to fix.
