Windows 10: blue screen problems, critical process failed, laptop started coming up with message...

laptop started coming up with message CRITICAL PROCESS FAILED and wont start i cant even access safe mode any ideas i have tried the recommended options and dont seem to be getting anywhere. i cant reboot or reinstall as windows came already installed and i dont have disk or any other way to load it

Blue Screen- Critical Process Died

My sister's laptop suddenly got the blue screen error with the code: CRITICAL PROCESS DIED. She mostly uses the laptop for school and some important tests is on the way.

We've been struggling all day with this problem. We've tried troubleshooting it using

• "Startup Repair",
  
• "Command Prompt",
  
• " System Restore",
  

But still nothing.

I've installed a Windows Bootable Media on a seperate USB, but I don't know if it'll delete all her personal info.

Please let me know if there is any way to save her laptop and if I should use the Wndows Bootable Media.

The Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error occurs due to the program that uses multiple processes to interact with your processor. If the processor is unable to process these multiple processes properly, it generates the CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED error.
Sometimes this error can be quite critical as it could damage your hard disk, memory or in rare circumstances, your processor.

Let us try the following steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: Power Drain.

• Shut down the laptop by power the system off.
• Take out the battery from the laptop and disconnect the charger.
• Press the power button on your laptop while it’s disconnected from any power source.
• This will drain existing power from laptop.
• Put the battery in and restart the laptop.
• Login to safe mode if it gives you multiple prompts otherwise login to normal mode.
• Once you are able to login restart the computer using restart option from windows.

Step 2: Let us try to repair the Windows using the ISO file.

Once your media is ready follow the steps.

• Insert media (DVD or USB drive).
• Click on Troubleshoot.
• Click on Advanced options.
• Click on Startup repair.
• Follow the on screen instructions.
