Blue Screen problems happening shortly after a update failure event ID 20, 20 seconds...

Recently wiped my pc due to blue screen issues but it seems im getting them again albeit more infrequentbefore the wipe i had them everyday, after the wipe i hadnt had any for a month until the past 2 weeks and no ive had about 4 in the span of 2 weeks. In the event viewer each time i get a series of events that are different from the blue screens i had before. I now get a "WindowsUpdateClient" Event ID 20 failure and then 20 seconds later i get a full blue screen Event ID 6008Searching the event Id 20 led me to run WSReset.exe but not sure if that will fix anything yet as these BSOD are

    :)

  2. please wait screen stuck (circle not rotating) for 20 seconds

    Hello,

A few days now on the please wait screen seems to be hanging for about 20 seconds. After logging in in the event viewer I see the following errors within this time:

    event ID 7009

A timeout was reached (30000 milliseconds) while waiting for the DNS Client service to connect.

    event ID 7000

The DNS Client service failed to start due to the following error:

The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

the same ^^ after 10 seconds

    and finally event ID 10

Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot
be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.

Then it takes me to password screen I guess. This takes a bit more than 20 seconds and I'm worried it will get worse.

Any help please? I use win7 PRO.

    Thanks in advance!

  3. AppModel-State event id 20 and 21

I deleted Dragon software using Windows software uninstall. After that my screen refreshed repeatedly. If I tried to launch an app from my task bar it would cause the screen to refresh and not launch the app. I checked my log and it lists thousands of AppModel-State
event ID 20 and 21 in a day. I would like to restore to an older version of my system to remove the cause of this problem. However, I would also like to know what actually caused this problem to avoid it in the future. I've run McAfee and windows security
app but no bugs of any kind were found.

I don't know what category this falls under so I chose what seemed most appropriate.

Blue Screen problems happening shortly after a update failure event ID 20, 20 seconds...

What will happen on Jan 20, 2016?

Strollin: I understand your suggestion, but that means I'll have to re-install all my sofftware etc. again. This is not an enticing thought at all.

LCDR: I tried the old activation code I used before - it is the same on you posted.

I tried the steps listed at the WinAero site. Last one failed because it said the server could not be located. But I did get the Jan 20, 2016 date back. So that's something.
