Windows 10: Blue screen, says BAD SYSTEM CONFIG INFO, cannot fix

So I was on my computer and it randomly dropped a blue screen saying BAD SYSTEM CONFIG INFO. So I hard shut down my PC, and auto-repair kicks in, but it says it can't fix my PC. I tried many things, command prompt using CHKDSK/R but it said that my drive was NTFS and it cannot lock or run the diskI'm using a barracuda hard drive btw because it was "write protected". I tried chkdsk/f and that didn't work either, so I attempt to use the system restore to reboot my computer to its last update but then it tells me it's unable to do that as it said my drive might be corrupted. Ok, I tried going into safe mode a couple times but it kept bringing me back to the blue screen so I know I can't access safe mode. I tried these steps over and over but it didn't work. I tried startup repair and nothing worked. I was even pushed to factory reset my PC and wipe everything except for my files, but it kicked me out with another "unable to....no changes". Now, I don't know what to do, I had a lot saved on this drive. Is it dead in the water?

Bad system config info

I keep getting a “bad system config info” error on my screen. It’s a blue screen error. I tried doing a bcdedit delete value and the path is an error. How do I fix this?

This is a brand new laptop that I've only used a hand full of times. I keep getting a blue screen that says Bad System Config Info. And it says we will restart your computer. It tries to restart and then goes to the same blue screen. It just goes back
and forth. I can't do anything.

Thanks so much for your suggestion. Sadly, the fixes did not work, and I'm still getting "bad system config info."

MS support is still not honoring phone calls reserved in advance/promises to call back in a few minutes-- must say I'm disappointed.

Any further ideas?
