Windows 10: Blue Screen Stop code error. invalid process attach attempt

My computer is running very slow at start up and it keeps shutting down and rebooting. I get a stop code error invalid process attach attempt. I have been trying to following the instructions to fix but I can't seem to get my computer in safe mode. I am using windows 10. I just recently updated my Norton antivirus. Does anyone know how to fix this error.

Stuck in loop with error invalid process attach attempt

We attempted to attach a new printer to our toshiba laptop earlier and my husband says the driver for the printer could not be downloaded and it was saying that the networks weren't the same. My husband shut down the computer to see if that would help and
it's been stuck in a loop of blue screen with the error message of invalid process attach attempt, then tries to diagnose, attempt repairs, gets to our lock screen, then the second you touch anything, starts all over again. Help!

I think we have windows 10...

This bug check can occur if the driver calls the KeAttachProcess function and the thread is already attached to another process.

Stop code: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE is probably due to a compatibility issue with the driver, as most blue screen errors are. Since you encountered this error after updating Windows, most probably, you would need to update the drivers
as well.

We suggest that you go through the steps in this article on how to troubleshoot blue screen errors.
On step 1, select After an update was installed.
