Windows 10: blue screen stop on windows 10

I got this computer shut down when i was being updated by microsoft. the blue screen came up and stated it was a stop "system thread exception not handled. ntfs.sys failure." It proceeded to say it was preparing automatic repair. It has been cycling with the automatic repair each time. It finally stopped with only the windows symbol displayed. I have been checking on the internet on what to do. It has been suggested that i select advanced options from three choices given right after automatic repair. The three choices are never displayed so i cannot choose one. My dilemma is that i cannot boot up to my home page to have other options to fix my computer. Anyone have any suggestions for a fix of this blue screen problem?
