Windows 10: Blue screen Video_tdr_failure on windows 10 build 1803

hey guys

i recently upgraded my windows 10 from 1703 to 1803, and now im facing constant bluescreen error. as the title says, its the famous VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE and also nvlddmkm.sys failure.

i didnt have this problem on the previous build.

i have an ASUS G553VD ( its a laptop ) and i've upgraded both my intel and NVIDIA graphic card drivers to the latest versions and i dont know what to do anymore.

my NVIDIA graphic card is a GTX 1050 4GB and the intel one is an intel 630

and also, my screen turns off and on sometimes randomly! all these problems occurred AFTER i installed the 1803 build, i tried to install my old drivers ( which i used on the last 1703 ) but they didnt work.

is there anyway to solve this? or perhaps you could tell me what is causing this problem? is it my intel graphic card or the nvidia one?

Blue screens and the code VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE on Windows 10

Hi Guys

I’ve Recently bought a PC from a friend and installed Windows 10 directly. After installing Windows everything was fine when all of a sudden it blue screens and the code VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (nvlddmkm.sys) pops up. It happens randomly during the day then
I have to restart it. Can you please help me diagnose the problem?

- Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 220

- Windows 10 64-bit

- 4Gig Ram

- Intel® Core™ 2 CPU 6600 @ 2.40GHz

- 500 GB HDD
