Windows 10: Blue Screen with "Critical_Process_Died" Error - Can't Exit BIOS

My PC has been repeatedly blue screening with the Critical_Process_Died error. After the crash, it restarts but boots directly into the Gigabyte BIOS setup page. I’ve tried exiting in various ways e.g., "Exit" or "Save & Exit," resetting to defaults, or powering off, but I can’t get out of the BIOS.The only way I can get back to Windows is by hard resetting the PC unplugging, holding the power button for 30 seconds, then plugging it back in. Even then, Windows starts but blue screens again within a minute, usually before I can do anything like connecting to WiFi or checking updates.E

The CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED bug check has a value of 0x000000EF. This indicates that a critical system process died.
The ntoskrnl.exe may possibly occur due to the default value in the
Boot Loader section of the Boot.ini file which is missing or invalid. BSOD errors occur mostly due to incompatible, faulty or corrupted device drivers installed on the computer. To better assist you, I'd like to know any changes
you've made. What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

Before we proceed I would like you to answer the following question:

• 
  What is the make and model of your computer?
  
• 
  Did you make any changes prior to the issue?
  

The issue might occur due to Viruses, or something changing/deleting in Registry Files, a failure during Bootup, or a corrupt file which could be due to age of a computer or viruses or somebody tampering with files.
