Windows 10: Blue screen with DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

Today I was just using google chrome and it just went in blue screen. It says DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. I don't know what is causing this problem, it's been happening for 3 times. I have windows 10 home Version 20h2 os build 19042.1165 and I am using a laptop I don't know what's causing the problem.

Stop code: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE is probably due to a compatibility issue with the driver, as most blue screen errors are. Since you encountered this error after updating Windows, most probably, you would need to update the drivers
as well.

We suggest that you go through the steps in this article on how to troubleshoot blue screen errors.
On step 1, select After an update was installed.

However, please let us know:

• When exactly do you receive the Blue Screen error?
  
• Are you aware of any changes made to the computer recently?
  
• Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? To check type:
  winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit
  Enter.
  
• What is the make and model of the computer?

The DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE error occurs when the driver is in an inconsistent or invalid power state. You may want to refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the Remarks section of the
article Bug Check 0x9F: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE
and see if that helps.



Note: Modifying BIOS/ complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings incorrectly can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting
