Windows 10: Blue screens and computer resets. DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION - Have minidump files

Hi All,


I have a driver causing some pretty bad problems. Resets and sometimes blue screens happen when I do certain actions. One way to get my PC to crash is to plug in my Wired Xbox One Controller. Another way is to install Logitech Gaming Software, restart the computer, and then a reset happens as soon as Logitech Gaming software detects my logitech mouse or keyboard.


Both of these crashes relate to USB or I/O hardware.

I have four Minidump files for you, The first three are DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION Bluescreens (i think):

and this fourth minidump is from a DRIVER_PAGE_FAULT_BEYOND_END_OF_ALLOCATION (xboxgip.sys) bsod, which happened once when I plugged in my Xbox One Controller (most of the time a reset happens with no bsod):

The DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION bluescreen doesn't tell me what driver had the problem.


Most of my components are new, the Windows install is about a week old. I have turned off my CPU overclock and XMP.


My specs are:

CPU: i7 8700k 3.7Ghz

Memory: Corsair LPX vengenance (2x8GB) 3000Mhz

Motherboard: MSI Z370 Gaming plus

GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070

Power Supply: EVGA SuperNova G2 750W


Mouse: Logitech Proteus Core G502

Keyboard: Logitech G710+ Mechanical Keyboard

Laptop keeps getting Blue Screen Of Death with the message DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION

I keep getting the Blue Screen of Death on my Laptop with the message DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION. This happens whenever I launch Photoshop or occasionally while playing Netflix. Sometimes when I am listening to Music or watching a Video the Audio
will lag a lot and be impossible to listen to.
