Windows 10: Blue Squares

I have a folder of music files which have suddenly got a blue square in front of the file name

Blue Squares with Dots on Boot - New Setup

I haven't gotten another BSOD. However, after uninstalling iCUE (Chroma-Controlled Application) which was displaying errors on my MEMORY.DMP (BSOD Forum) i still found a Blue Square during Boot today which forced me to manually restart.

The BSOD Team also noted Razer Chroma SDK displaying similar errors as well. However, i'm going one step at a time to determine the main cause. I've just turned off Hibernation & Fast Startup and will report any updates the following days in hopes it's the main cause and doesn't produce further problems.

In case it continues, next still step will be to uninstall Razer Chroma SDK as well. If the scenario persists, i'm totally out of ideas as reports are not showing anything else related to the booting process presenting errors.

 

Thin blue square on icons


I removed the arrow from my desktop icons, but i see there is now a thin blue square around most icons. The blue line seems useless and clutters the icon. Does anyone know how to get rid of those blue lines? And why do they appear on some icons and not on others?
