Windows 10: Blue Ticks on Icons with ">>" Symbol - How to remove them?

Hello,Lately I am seeing some prefix Blick Tick ">>" on all the files Specially on all document files like PDF, Excel, world etcMay you please let me know how to remove this?

Remove yellow/blue sheild icon from shortcuts


After upgrading to Windows 10, some desktop shortcuts have UAC shield icons. Is it possible to remove them?





EDIT: Here's a solution...
Launch the shortcuts via CMD:

1. Right-click the shortcut to Properties
2. Click Change Icon, then click OK when its window pops up (necessary step to avoid losing the icon)
3. Add the following, plus a space, to the beginning of the Target field, leaving the existing path at the end:

   cmd /c start ""

I had previously solved this by editing a system icon file, but that method doesn't seem to be working as of update 1607, plus it was a lot more trouble.

 

Safely Remove Icon never disapear

There's a very simple solution- just right click the toolbar > Properties > tick hide inactive icons > Customize > then select the safely remove icons as always hide.

 

Green tick symbol on desktop icons

Green ticks appear when Onedrive is running. Exit One drive and the ticks disappear. Check for Onedrive icon on taskbar it may be set to start when windows starts. It has something to do with syncing files.
