Windows 10: Blue tooth abra elite 65T headset detected as headphone

I tried to pair my headset jabra elite 65T to my Dell computer running with windows 10Unfortunately it seems that whatever I do, my headset is systematically detected as a headphone by windowswhen I go into control panel --> sound. I am able to connect to the headphone icon.But I cannot connect to the headset icone despite this one being activated.The microphone does not show up in any application teams or other.I tried to look for solutions on various forum but I was not able to solve the issueCould use some helpthank youRgds

my computer will not detect blue tooth headphones

I'm running Win 8.1 on a Lenovo laptop. Previously it detected my phone via blue tooth but I could not transfer photos from the phone to the laptop. Today I tried having the laptop detect a set of blue tooth headphones but it wouldn't. What am I doing
wrong?

Headphones Not Detected

Wasn't sure what topic to put this under.

Windows 10 refuses to detect my headphones from my headset. The mic is fine. The computer even recognizes when I plug the headphones of the headset in. But it refuses to detect them. I can go into my Sound in Control Panel all day, and there will NEVER be any
headphones in that list. So, no, I cannot click headphones, just making that clear before someone suggests clicking on headphones.

How do I force Windows 10 to detect the headphones that I have plugged in, so that they will work? The jack is working fine. When I plug them in it gives me the pop-up letting me know that I plugged something into the jack. But that's the end of it. It will
not detect the headphones. Nothing comes out of them. There are no headphones in the Sound list. There is nothing. Nada. Zip. Zero. Zilch. Why does it register something is plugged in and then refuse to detect it?

Someone please figure out why Windows 10 simply cannot detect headphones and help me fix this so I can use my headset.

 

Bluetooth headset is connected and paired but shows as disconnected in Sound setting

I understand how annoying it can be when the Bluetooth headset is pairing but not connecting to the PC. Thanks for the information provided by you on the post.

While working on this issue, we couldn’t find any relevant article which confirms that this particular headset can be used on a Windows PC from the manufacturer website.

However, we would like you perform this steps and check if it fix the issue.

1. Pair the Bluetooth headset to the PC.
   
2. Press Windows + I key on your keyboard and select
   Devices.
   
3. Select Bluetooth & other devices from the left pane, then click Sound settings from the right pane.
   
4. If you see the Jabra Elite 65t listed under
   Choose your output device, then click on Troubleshoot tab.
   
5. Select Headset Earphone- Jabra Elite 65t and click next.
   
6. Follow the onscreen steps to finish the process.
   
7. Check if the issue persist.
