Windows 10: Blueooth speakers turning themselves on occasionally

Hello, I recently had to reinstall windows due to windows failure.


Previously the bluetooth speakers would only connect and change to them whenever I powered them on. Now, whenever I start my computer the speakers turn themselves on and automatically connect. Sometimes during the day they will also turn themselves on.

I want the speakers to only connect when I turn them on manually, and then be set to the default device like they did before.

  Right click on the speaker icon.

  Select playback devices option.

  Now select the speaker as default.

  Now go to recording devices option and select the microphone as default and click on apply.

Windows Defender for Windows 10 will not turn on for Occasional Scanning

Windows Defender for Windows 10 will not turn on for Occasional Scanning on my PC. I have WebRoot SecureAnywhere for as my main antivirus software. If I change the settings in Windows Defender Security Center to turn to Occasional Scanning to ON, and Click
OK in UAC, as soon as I do that, Windows Defender Security Center Occasional Scanning turns OFF.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix?

Audio Troubleshooter Turned Off My Speakers?!

If you're using external speakers, we suggest that you set the device as default. Here are the steps:

• Open Start, enter Sound, select it from the list of results.
• On the Playback tab, select a device, then Set Default.

If the same instance occurs, kindly perform the following steps on how to completely uninstall and reinstall the sound driver:

• Go to Start Menu > search for Device Manager.
• Expand Sound and audio devices.
• Right-click on the current sound driver > choose uninstall.

• Download the latest sound driver from the device manufacturer's website.
