Windows 10: BlueScreen. A decent handful of info linked.

My computer keeps BSODing and is driving me insane. My stability index is frequently at 1/2 with multiple crashes a day. I'm quite confident that it only crashes while I'm playing games, this could be because my games are on another drive and something is wrong with it. WilliamDz, the person who had previously helped me on my other post, stated that it's more likely to be a storage problem, which falls in line with my hypothesis, instead of a RAM problem.


I'm quite confident that I have followed most of the recommended measures to fix it. Re-installing Windows, limiting all third party applications to just my games for testing, using SFC/DISM, running the chkdsk /r command. I can retry these if you may think that will help.


WilliamDz mentioned that re-seating the cables would help, though that seems to have made no difference. I even changed the cable for my "Game Library" drive.

GPUz Incorrect Info GF117

I've got the GT620M in a Zenbook and the newest version of GPUz has it listed as a 40nm part whereas all other info on the web suggests its 28nm. Can you investigate, W1z?

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue
