So since a recent windows update made it impossible for me to launch a game I regularly play I decided to uninstall the updates installed today.

This didn't fix my problem and made a bluescreen appear. I'm now stuck in this endless loop of bluescreen where I can't access my desktop, can't start in safe mode, can't restore to a previous version when I try to it says I have to safety check C: or something like that. I really have no idea what to do anymore.

    :)

  2. Windows 10 Continuous Reboot with Critial Process Died

    Hi,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Sorry to know that the system restarts continuously with Critical Process Died error on Windows 10. I will certainly help you.

CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED indicates that a critical system process died. This occurs when a process needed for the operating to run properly, well, dies. When you experience this type of error, you might see a blue screen with a message that
your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart.

I suggest you to follow below steps and check if it resolves the issue:

    Step 1:

    a. Restart your PC. When you get to the
    sign-in screen
, hold the Shift key down while you select
    Power

    icon > Restart.

    b. After your PC restarts to the Choose an option screen, select
    Troubleshoot > Advanced options >

    System Restore.

(This option takes your PC back to an earlier point in time, called a system restore point. Restore points are generated when you install a new app, driver, update, or when you create a restore point manually. Choose a restore point before you experienced
    the error).

Note: Restoring your PC to an earlier point will remove updates and drivers installed after the restore point was made. It won’t affect your personal files.

If restoring your PC to an earlier point resolves the blue screen error,
temporarily block the update from automatically installing again.

    Step 2:

If the System Restore fails to resolve the issue, follow the below steps:

    a. Restart your PC. When you get to the
    sign-in screen
, hold the Shift key down while you select
    Power

    icon > Restart.

    b. After your PC restarts to the Choose an option screen, select
    Troubleshoot > Advanced options >

    Startup Settings > Restart.

    c. After your PC restarts, you'll see a list of options.
    Select 4
or F4 to start your PC in Safe Mode. Or if you'll

need to use the Internet, select 5 or F5
    for Safe Mode with Networking.

    d. Navigate to Control Panel > Programs and Features
    > View installed updates on top left panel.

    e. Uninstall the update causing the issue and check if it resolves the issue.

Hope this helps. If the issue remains unresolved, please get back to us and we would be happy to help.

    Thank you.

  3. Please help ( begging ) critical processes died!

    Hi,

I suggest you to follow the below step and check if the issue persists.

CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED occurs when a process needed for the operating to run properly, well, dies. Processes are like programs, but multiple processes can be used by a single program- and processes directly interact with your processor,
hence their name. The bad thing about this error is that it could be just about anything critical to the operation of your computer: namely, your hard drive, your memory, or, if you’re especially unfortunate, your processor.

I suggest you to boot the computer in safe mode and check if the issue persists:

To boot the system in safe mode please refer to the link below.

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/windows-startup-settings-safe-mode

Note: After the troubleshooting, make sure to boot your computer to normal mode.

Please let us know if you need further assistance.

    Thank you.

    Stop code: CRITICAL PROCESS DIED

Did A restore because last automatic update made things run slow, now it says computer did not start correctly, shows Stop code: CRITICAL PROCESS DIED. It goes to automatic repair and has "restart" and "advanced options". Won't go to safe mode and won't
do another restore, any suggestions on how to make it work again?
