    • What is the exact error message showing on your end?
    • Were there any changes/updates to your device prior to the issue?
    • Any troubleshooting steps you've done so far to resolve the issue?

    Bluescreen error: 0x0000003b

    PC randomly freezes while gaming

    Back on June 18 you had memory problems that appeared to be solved by reseating the RAM.



    Run memtest86+ again and see if the RAM problem has returned.

    Meanwhile I'll take a look at dumps and see if anything shows up.

    Edit: This is an old Vista machine, it's BIOS is from 2010. No driver updates of any kind since then.

    There were 8 Bluescreens (BSODs):

    Bluescreen: P1: 0X00000162 7/11/2020 2:03 PM P1: 0X00000162 7/11/2020 2:03 PM
    Bluescreen: P1: 0X00000162 7/11/2020 1:42 PM P1: 0X00000162 7/11/2020 1:42 PM

    Bluescreen: P1: 0X0000003b 7/11/2020 1:35 PM P1: 0X0000003b 7/11/2020 1:35 PM

    Dumps are not showing me anything useful (again).

    Suggest uninstalling Kaspersky for now and see if that makes a difference. Run with Windows Defender for awhile.
