Windows 10: Bluescreen Error, Windows 11 22H2 - Lenovo - DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL - wfplwfs.sys

Had a BlueScreen this morning. I've attached the mini-dump file below. Not sure why OS Name is Windows 10 below. BlueScreen DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (Netwsw00.sys)

hello,

i have a asus k53sv laptop with i5 processor and i upgrade the hdd to ssd about 1 year ago.

for 2 days i start having bluescreen when i am browsing on the web.

i always get this message "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (Netwsw00.sys)"

i'm running windows 10

Sorry for the inconvenience caused by BSOD - driver_irql_not_less_or_equal (l1c63x64.sys).

Please let us know the make/model of your computer.

The L1C63x64.sys is the Atheros LAN driver and I would suggest to uninstall and reinstall the Atheros LAN driver but install the latest Atheros LAN driver by visiting the manufacture's website and avoid using any LAN driver available though Windows Update.

However the problem could also be with any VPN software and other software so make sure you have the latest version of each of these software.

If the errors continue uninstall the VPN software and check if the issue persist.

Windows 11 22H2 update bluescreens on install.

Hi Dave, thanks for the assistance but even a fresh install of Windows 11 22H2 didn't work...

That would bluescreen just like the updates, sometimes a different error code each time. Googled each one and still couldn't find a resolution, so made myself a 22H2 Windows 10 USB from a spare laptop and that installed first time, no issues.
