Windows 10: Bluescreen RAM not compatible?

Hey, guys,

i have a rather unusual problem: My new PC always crashes in "idle" with the bluescreen "critical_process_Died".

By idle I mean that no program was opened at all.

Example: I open YouTube and watch a video -> everything perfect

I close the browser -> after 2 min Bluescreen .

same with startup -> I do not open a browser -> after 2 min bluescreen

The task manager always shows a SSD load of 100% when it gets a blue screen.

A quick look at the PC:

asus B450 I motherboard

ryzen 3 3200g

G.skill Ripjaws V DDR4 16 Gb 3200

kingston 120gb SSD

Dark Power per 7 650w

According to Asus, the RAM isn't listed in the QVL, but G.Skill thinks it's compatible.

Another special feature: The pc only starts with the 4 pin CPU connector (P4) of the power supply, not with the 8 pin connector (P8).

Win 10 has been reset three times. All drivers are up-to-date!

CPU temperature is always good, even in the stress test it reaches a maximum of 60 degrees

What are your opinions?

Constant Bluescreens/Crashes

I did that during the part where i set all the stuff to how LifeOnMars suggested

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

To RAM or not to RAM...

Hey genesis what hardware have you bought, you might be able to save on the ram and step up the rest of the hardware a little...

Or you could go out on the town as suggested... *Big Grin
