Windows 10: Bluescreens issue and storage space gone

First, my used storage has suddenly went up from 70 to 90 GB, and I suspect it might be due to my download not installation of Windows 11 a few weeks ago. However, I've just checked my "Windows update" settings and it gave me a "download and install" option for Windows 11. So I'm not sure whether I have already downloaded it or not. There's no change in my storage space, it's still at 90GB.The second problem is bluescreens have been popping up every day recently. It's not randomly appearing, but whenever I unplug my surface pro from the power supply and use it elsewhere, it will show me the

You don't show a screenshot, so I am uncertain to which part of the process of creating a storage space you are referring. I pointed you to the tutorials. I now provide you with a screenshot of part of one of them, which shows a warning which might be what you are referring to.





Your question about double storage / redundancy appears to relate to the normal operation of storage spaces once configured, so seems obscure.

My impression is that few here have used storage spaces.

Storage Spaces Disappears After Replacing Boot Drive

Well, I am attaching a links to MS support site for dealing with issues on Parity spaces. The first is an update issued on July 31, 2020, applies to Win 10 2004 and address an issue with in-memory parity bitmaps that can cause data integrity issues in Storage Spaces. Check to see if your Windows install has this update. If not I recommend that you install it.

After the above update is verified or has been installed then refer to the link below for recovery steps for Storage Spaces cleanup. I would recommend that you follow the Manual steps that follow the troubleshooting outlined in this article. Working through PowerShell with Storage Spaces is far more effective than most other means. If these steps do not resolve the issue for you then short of adding more disks to the spaces I am out of recommendations here.
