    I am trying to connect some wireless headphones to my laptop which is a Samsung MP355VSC Running Windows 10 Pro on an I5-3210 with 6Gb of Ram.


    The Bluetooth identifies itself in Device Manager as "Qualcomm Atheros ar3012 Bluetooth 4.0" If I try and scan for Bluetooth devices nothing appears - not even my phone. However if I disable/uninstall the item and use a cheap £2 Bluetooth dongle everything appears.


    However windows then tries to reinstall the Qualcomm driver and this stops the dongle working and on reboot we are back to square one.


    Windows is on Version 20H2.


    How do I get the Bluetooth working right - either preferably via the built in or if not the dongle so I can have a stable connection to the headphones I bought?

    BT EDR DONGLE Driver Error

    I have a 10-year-old Hitachi Starboard Tablet that works fine on my Dell desktop (running Windows 10) but when I plug the BTU02H-G dongle into my Dell Laptop (also running on Windows 10), the Settings screen for "Bluetooth & other devices" on my laptop lists "BT EDR Dongle Driver Error" and the tablet is not discoverable.
    How do I update the driver for my laptop or correct the driver error?
