Windows 10: Bluetooth 5.0 adapter peripheral mode not working

Hi, I just bought a new bluetooth adapter because of i have desktop computer. When I plug it in, everything works fine, but when I try to use it with an application that requires bluetooth perpherial mode, I get an error telling me that I don't have that mode. I think thats because of missing drivers or something like that.

Hello Everyone

I have just bought the above mentioned bluetooth adapter but unfortunately cant manage to connect my bluetooth headset with it (does not find the device in pairing mode, keeps searching)! I have downloaded and installed the latest driver for this device from the promate website. Any suggestions?

99% yes, it should work with both. If the keyboard comes with one, check to see which has the latest revision of Bluetooth.

Edit: bluetooth revisions. Version 4.0 is the latest.

I bought a Razer bluetooth notebook mouse and a brandless bluetooth USB receiver that I verified to be working. Now, I also would like to buy a BT keyboard with that too (for an HTPC setup) but would the USB BT receiver work with the keyboard as well?

What if the keyboard comes with its own bluetooth receiver? Would I be able to use the same receiver with both the mouse & the keyboard regardless of whether it's the one I bought or the one that came with the kb? Or do I have to use both?
