    Hello,


    My computer built in 2014 has built in Bluetooth 4.0.


    I recently got a BT 5.0 Dongle.


    Can I use both or only 1? Disabled one?


    I only have one BT5.0 device. My headphones. Can I use both and set my headphones to use the BT 5.0 dongle only?


    Mouse is 4.0


    Sometimes I use BT with my cell phone to transfer files a back and forth.

    Edit: This is a dongle with old BT version I see now, but I'm sure you can find a Asus BT4.0 version.

    @aasim1111 I have this one, it doesn't show that it supports A2DP in the specs but I think it'll work, otherwise send a mail to Asus and ask.

    Bluetooth Dongles and Adapters

    "Dongle" is a common term for anything that plugs into a port on a computer and can refer to USB to Ethernet adapter, USB to Bluetooth, wireless mouse, wireless keyboard, etc. Basically, Bluetooth is a short range wireless versus the 802.11a/b/g/n/ac flavors of Networking. Looking on the Internet shows the CSR4 as a Bluetooth 4 adapter, might check if the newer Bluetooth 5 may be necessary.

    My computer specs are as listed in the profile. I think all of you guys are correct. I don't have built-in Bluetooth in mobo.

    I contacted skull candy headphones and thy have told me if I do not have built-in Bluetooth, I would need a dongle which supports at least a2dp. I do not know what the heck that means. I have a feeling I would need more than a cheap dongle.

    Anyone suggest some a2dp adapters. I searched but don't know what a2dp is so couldn't make a decision
