Windows 10: Bluetooth 5.1 Sound System showing as Headphones with only 2 channels

Hey guys,I have a Logitech Z607 Bluetooth 5.1 Audio System paired to my Windows 11 Desktop, It works, but it shows as being headphones and it's only letting me use 2 channels Left and Right Logitech tells me the drivers for the device come from Microsoft, But when I checked if there are any updates for the drivers, it said I'm using the latest, I sent a feedback to Microsoft about it, but who knows how long that's going to take, if it even gets read.So do you have any ideas how I can fix this problem?Thanks.

Stereo Bluetooth Headphones do not reproduce stereo sound

Bluetooth 4.x headsets (headphones with microphone) have two modes:
1. Stereo headset speakers with NO microphone
2. Mono headset speakers with microphone

I see in the listing for your headphones it shows a microphone. Make sure your the audio is configured correctly so that you have stereo headphone speakers.

With your headphones connected with Bluetooth

Left-click on little speaker (bottom right on desktop)





You should see current speaker for computer
In this example headphones in stereo is selected





If you click on Headphones you will bring up all options





To see more…
Right-click on little speaker (bottom right on desktop)





Select Sounds from list





If you want Stereo Headphones but NO microphone

Select Playback tab
Make sure Headphones is the current playback device





Select Recording tab
Make sure Microphone array (or similar) is the current recording device

 

Headphones do not show up when Realtek is installed

OK, so this happened to me on my laptop. It wanted to use the realtek drivers no matter what. Let me show you what to do.
Step 1. Open the start menu and type 'Device Manager' in the search bar. Click on the result.

Step 2.

You'll see this window appear.

Step 3.

Expand the 'Sound , video and game controllers' category.

Step 4. Find 'Realtek High Definition Audio' in the list, then right click it and select Properties.

Step 5.

Click on the 'Driver' tab near the top of the window.

Step 6.

Now click on the button that says 'Roll back driver'.
If the button is dimmed, make sure your Realtek drivers are currently installed.

Step 6. If you did it correctly, the system should ask you to restart to finish. If it does then you finished the tutorial correctly!
Once restarted, Open device manager again using step 1. Expand the 'sound, video and game controllers' category again.

Step 7. If it says 'High Definition Audio Device' then you did it right. Here's a pic for example purposes:

 

Can't get Bluetooth headphones to show in Sound app

My Bluetooth headphones are connected per the Bluetooth icon in the notification area. However, they don't show in the Sound app (see screenshot). So I can't use the headphones. They always worked before - this just happened today. Also, just noticed that, when I open the Bluetooth app from my notification area, it only stays open for a few seconds - then closes automatically. Something like this happened a couple of months ago and, I think, one of you told me how to reinstall my System Apps. Can't remember if that's what worked - but something worked. Someone also told me how to make sure a Bluetooth device was disconnected via a command prompt. I the reinstalled my headphones to the bluetooth app. Perhaps that's what worked. unfortunate for me, I can't find the instructions. Oops!! Now the Settings app is disappearing to the Notification Tray about 1 second after I open it. Thank you....
