Windows 10: bluetooth a2dp snk device not showing up in Sound since Windows 11 please help me

So i am using the app Bluetooth Audio Reciever to stream audio from my phone to my pc speakers.In Windows 10 I could go to Sound - Recording and my device would show up, and I could change settings as "Listen to this device" etc.Since I upgraded to Windows 11, it is not showing up anymore. I can still connect to it, and it outputs to default output device. But it is not listed under recording tab anymore, so I cant change any settings.The device shows up in Device Manager just fine. It outputs audio just fine. Only problem is it is not listed in Recording tab.The reason I care is because befor

Firstly, could you let me know the specific system version? You can check it by pressing the Win key + R key, and typing "winver", then press Enter, please take a screenshot/photo of it, and only send the relevant information without PII in the next reply.

In Windows system, you typically don't manually add A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) drivers to Device Manager. A2DP drivers are usually provided by the Bluetooth stack and are automatically installed when you pair a Bluetooth audio device that supports A2DP.

Here are the general steps to ensure A2DP functionality:

1. Pair Your Bluetooth Audio Device: Ensure that your A2DP-compatible Bluetooth audio device is paired correctly with your computer. Follow the device's instructions for pairing again.
   
2. Reinstall Bluetooth Drivers: If all else fails, you can try uninstalling your Bluetooth drivers and then allowing Windows to automatically reinstall them:
   
   1. Open "Device Manager."
      
   2. Locate the "Bluetooth" category, right-click on your Bluetooth adapter, and select "Uninstall device."
      
   3. Restart your computer, and Windows should automatically reinstall the Bluetooth drivers.
      
3. Manually installing the driver:
   
   1. Right-click on the A2DP device (if it's shown) and select "Update driver".
      
   2. Choose to manually install: In the driver installation wizard, select "Browse my computer for driver software". This will allow you to manually choose the driver file.
      
   3. Browse and select the driver file: Navigate to the folder where you have the downloaded A2DP driver file and select that file.

The reason I care is because before, I could use the "Listen to this device" and "Playback through this device" to change output for the device separately, instead of changing deafult output device for the whole system.

I have also tested this on virtual machines and the problem is persistent. Works fine in Windows 10, but not in Windows 11

@aasim1111 I have this one, it doesn't show that it supports A2DP in the specs but I think it'll work, otherwise send a mail to Asus and ask.
