Windows 10: Bluetooth and Ethernet gone

I recently wanted to go play Rocket League, so I tried connecting my PS5 controller to my pc, but it wouldn't connect. When I checked my bluetooth in my quick access thingy, the icon isn't there, only WiFi. Then I noticed that there is a WiFi icon, and not an ethernet icon. I updated to the next Windows 11 Update, but that did not fix it. I've tried unplugging and replugging my Bluetooth dongle, I've tried going into the BIOS and disable and enable BT/WiFi module which did not work either. Bluetooth does not show up under device management, it's under hidden devices. In Control panel, under ha

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

Before proceeding, we need more information to help you better.

Did you checked whether the Bluetooth device is listed under hidden devices in Device manager?

Have you checked whether the Bluetooth driver is listed under installed programs under Programs and features? (As you have reinstalled the Bluetooth.)

Note:

In device manager, click on "view" tab and select "show hidden devices" and check whether Bluetooth device/driver is listed.

To check the drivers installed in Programs and features, Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard and select Programs and features and check whether the Bluetooth driver is installed.

Until you get back to us with the required information, follow the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1:

I would suggest you check if Bluetooth Support service is started.

Press Windows + R keys on the keyboard, type services.msc and press OK.

Now, find Bluetooth Support Service and start it

Double click on the Bluetooth Support Service set the startup type as Automatic.

My Bluetooth is gone

Hi,

I would suggest you to run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter:

• Search Troubleshooting using Cortana.
• Under Control Panel Home click View all.
• In the list option, select Hardware and devices.
• Click Next and follow the on-screen instruction.

You can also try to start Bluetooth service and set it automatic by following this steps;

• a. Press Windows key + R on the keyboard.
• b. Type “services.msc” without quotes and press
  Enter.
• c. Right click on Bluetooth support service and click on
  Properties.
• d. Set the Startup type as Automatic and then click Start under
  Service status.
• e. Click on OK.
