Windows 10: Bluetooth and troubleshooting both broken this week

I returned to my home office setup after a few days on the road not using any Bluetooth accessories, and found that none of them work suddenly. I spent hours turning things on and off, running through the Bluetooth troubleshooter, disconnecting and reconnecting accessories and nothing worked. I also had the Bluetooth radio button freeze many times as it loaded turning off and on. Something is clearly wrong with my Bluetooth but the only thing the troubleshooter can muster is resetting the radio button. Anyone else experiencing this and have an easy fix?

Bluetooth is not working — troubleshoot claims I don't even have it

I have done all the following steps:

- installed bluetooth driver from manufacturer
- hit windows update
- updated / uninstalled bluetooth items listed in Device Manager and restarted the PC
- updated / uninstalled USB drivers listed in Device Manager and restarted the PC (USB drivers automatically came back but not bluetooth)
- turned on and restarted all bluetooth support in services.msc
- conducted bluetooth troubleshooting
- conducted hardware troubleshooting

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Bluetooth broken

Step 1: Run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.

Hardware and Devices troubleshooter checks for common problems and makes sure that any new device or hardware connected to your PC is installed correctly.

• Type troubleshooting in the search bar.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Click on Hardware and Devices.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.

Step 2: Uninstall and Reinstall Bluetooth Driver.

Please follow the steps given here to uninstall and then reinstall the Bluetooth driver.

a) Press Windows + X keys when you are at desktop.

b) Select Device Manager.

c) Find and double-click Bluetooth driver from the left panel to uninstall

d) Right-click the device, and click Uninstall.

e) Windows will prompt you to confirm the device’s removal. Click OK to remove the driver.

f) After the uninstallation is complete, reboot your computer as soon as possible.

Step 3:Go to your laptop support website ask for help .

1.Confirm your laptop Model.

2.Go to your laptop support website to download your laptop model bluetooth driver and reinstall.
