Windows 10: Bluetooth appears ok from tablet perspective, but speaker will not pla

I have an Irulu Walkenbook with Windows 10/32. Neat little tablet so far, but I purchased a blue tooth speaker that works fine our Ipods and Ipad. When I start to pair on the Irulu everything looks fine. I'm shown that I am connected and the speaker is listed in the blue tooth settings page and in the Device manager. I have tried up dating drivers, but pretty much all still show 2006 as the date.

Anyone have any ideas? They would surely be appreciated.

Bluetooth recognizes, pairs, but will not allow speaker to work

I have an Irulu Walkenbook tablet. It really is a nice little tablet, except for Bluetooth operation. The speaker I have works flawlessly with our two ipods and my wife's Ipad. The tablet, however won't play on it. Everything from my perspective looks
normal. It will recognize, pair, and list it in Device manager and the Bluetooth settings page. I have contacted Irulu, but they want me to try their tablet with another speaker, which I don't have. I am going to try a friend's speaker on Friday, so maybe
something definitive will come out of that. Thank you for any help anyone may be able to render.

 

Bluetooth speaker

I have a new tablet that runs both w10 and android. Bluetooth connects with my Sony speaker and works fine using android so I think the hardware is ok. Using w10 it is paired and connected but sound comes from the tablet not the speaker. I've checked
the speaker drivers and w10 reports they are up to date. not sure what else to try
