Hello,I recently performed a clean installation of Windows 10 and have encountered an issue with my headphones. To provide some context, my headphones are known for their excellent sound quality and worked flawlessly on both Windows 10 and Windows 11 before the reinstallation. It's worth mentioning that these headphones work seamlessly on Mac, iPhone, Android, and other Windows devices without any issues. Previously, when receiving a call, the headphones would seamlessly switch to "Phone Mode"I refer to it as 'Phone Mode' for now, as I don't have a better term for it.. After a brief con

  2. Bluetooth Audio Connection Issue (B&O Beoplay H9i & Bose QC35 II)

    Hello,

I recently performed a clean installation of Windows 10 and have encountered an issue with my headphones. To provide some context, my headphones are known for their excellent sound quality and worked flawlessly on both Windows 10 and Windows 11 before the reinstallation. It's worth mentioning that these headphones work seamlessly on Mac, iPhone, Android, and other Windows devices without any issues.

Previously, when receiving a call, the headphones would seamlessly switch to "Phone Mode"(I refer to it as 'Phone Mode' for now, as I don't have a better term for it.). After a brief connection pause, I could listen to music and take calls simultaneously, with a slight decrease in audio quality but still acceptable.

Since reinstalling Windows 10, my headphones behave differently. They only occasionally switch to "Phone Mode." When this happens, I can no longer hear music, and other system sounds such as YouTube, Spotify, or notification tones become inaudible. Phone calls work intermittently, but music playback and other sounds remain compromised.

I've taken all the standard steps, including checking Bluetooth settings, updating drivers, and ensuring that all updates and firmware are up-to-date. Despite these efforts, the issue persists.

Has anyone else experienced a similar situation or perhaps has an idea on how to address this problem? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

    Windows 10 Home Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045

    Intel Core i7-10700 CPU @2,9GHz
    NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12GB
    32GB RAM

    B&O Beoplay H9i

  3. BeoPlay S3 recognized in Bluetooth but not as an audio device

    Hi DavidHodapp!

I had the same problem, but solved it in the following way:

Go to the Windows Bluetooth device manager screen.

If the Beoplay S3 is already in your Bluetooth device list, remove it from the list of bluetooth devices.

Then, press the B&O Button on your Beoplay S3 for about 2 seconds.

The speaker will give an audio signal and the LED will flash blue.

Now, click "Add new bluetooth device" in the Bluetooth device manager screen.

When Beoplay S3 is shown as an option, add it.

It should now be recognized as an audio device.

The key is to put Beoplay S3 in "bluetooth install mode" by pressing the B&O button for about 2 seconds until it gives an acknowledge signal and the LED flashes blue.

Hope this works for you - it did work for me!

    Regards

  4. Bluetooth Audio Connection Issue B&O Beoplay H9i & Bose QC35 II

Trouble using Bose QC35 headphones, Alexa and Bluetooth

Don't have Bose Bluetooth, wish I did. Mine are wired.

Under method two, is this still applicable to your version of the software?

Search high and low for actual screen shots / manual. No luck.

I might also contact Bose, sounds like a glitch in app software. What kind of phone are you using with App and is up to date?
