Windows 10: Bluetooth Audio Cutting Out Internal Audio Still Works

Hi,I've been having this issue for several months now and it's really frustrating.Essentially any Bluetooth audio device I have connected to my laptop a Dell Inspiron 5480 running Windows 11 Education will behave as it should for an unspecified length of time and then it will suddenly stop playing audio. It doesn't crackle/stutter, just stops playing. If I look in the sound settings the volume bar moves as it would when there is audio playing. If I change the output device to my internal speakers the audio starts playing again.If I disconnect then reconnect the Bluetooth device then it usual

Bluetooth Audio Cutting In and Out/Choppy


Hi All,

I have been battling with this for a few weeks now, I have got myself some good quality bluetooth headphones, which work perfectly on my android phone (Samsung S7 Edge).

I paired them with my work computer which is running Windows 10 Pro x64, the system itself is i5-7500 with 8 GB Ram, and the sound is so choppy it is unusable.

I have tried everything:

1: Uninstalling the drivers from device manager, rebooting and letting windows install the default drivers.
2: Installing the latest Widcomm Bluetooth Drivers (12.0.1.940)
3: Changed all the settings as recommended from the various posts on the web including changing the headphones service to Audio Sink only.

Nothing works, the Audio is cutting out very rapidly, sometimes 1-2 times a second, then it might be fine for a few seconds then starts again.

The bluetooth does not get disconnected, it is just the audio. It is pretty much unusable as it stands.

Please can someone help me out with this?

 

Having an Audio Lag as well as cutting of sound

I recently bought my new wireless(Bluetooth) and wired headphone but with them, I am having an audio lag and after 10 seconds of playing any song or video, the sound begins to cut.

There is no problem with speakers in the headphones as they work perfectly fine when I use them with an aux.

Also, bluetooth is fine as they work perfectly with my mobile phones and no audio lag or cutting sounds are observed.

The audio lag problem also happens with my bluetooth speaker, however, there are no cutting sounds while using it.
