Windows 10: "Bluetooth Audio Device" is STOPPED in "Sound, Video & Game Controllers", Code 10.

UNUSUAL BLUETOOTH PROBLEM"Bluetooth Audio Device" is STOPPED in "Sound, Video & Game Controllers", "...device cannot start. Code 10". Hence, Bluetooth does NOT work. Bluetooth icon in "My Computer" still shows, but displays as "<unknown>" and System cannot find location of this Icon. This happened after I accidentally pressed "delete key" while Bluetooth icon in "My Computer" was selected. ALL COMMON SOLUTION DO NOT WORK. UNSUCCESSFULLY TRIED:System Restore; Driver updates;Rollback to old drivers;Uninstalled ALL Bluetooth devices, and reinstalled ALL Bluetooth Devices and driv

HD Audio controller cannot start code 10, No audio output device is installed, No sound controllers in device manager.

I have an Acer Aspire E1-531 running Windows 10 anniversary update. I used the free update option, and updated from Windows 7. The problem is I get no sound whatsoever, and in device manager, under system devices, the high definition audio controller has
a yellow exclamation mark and code 10. There is no sound, game, and video controller tab in the device manager. On the taskbar, there is a red x on the speaker symbol, saying that no output device is installed. Opening the sound menu, there are no playback
or recording devices, even with show disabled and disconnected. The problem started before I had updated, after a battery repair. I've tried uninstalling the high definition audio controller, but after I refresh it just comes back. I've tried uninstalling
and reinstalling drivers, and other suggestions I've found in Microsoft answers but nothing has worked yet.

I can get a sound, video, and game controller menu in device manager if I use add legacy hardware, and select Realtek high definition audio device. But then the Realtek high definition audio device also gives a "This device cannot start" (Code 10) Request
not supported.

 

No Audio, No Bluetooth Connection, No Sound

Did you look in Device Manager, Sound, video and game controllers and check if the audio adapter was active?

Also was Bluetooth there?

 

"No audio devices are installed" issue in Windows 10

I am running Windows 10 Pro on a Dell Precision 5510. My BIOS information lists my sound controller as "Realtek ALC 3266". But a couple of days ago I suddenly stopped getting any sound. When I go to the "Playback" tab in the "Manage Audio Devices" screen,
it says "No audio devices are installed."

In the Device Manager itself, under "Sound, video and game controllers", I can see an entry for "Realtek Audio" if I check "Show hidden devices" in the "View" tab. But it is greyed out.

I have tried running Windows 10 troubleshooting but it can't detect any problems.

Suggestions?
