  1. Bluetooth Audio Device Missing!!!!

    Hi there,

    I am using a Lenovo C20-C30 Series F0B2 All-in-One Desktop with windows 10.

i recently got my new headphones and when i went to connect them with my PC it was showing bluetooth is turned off.

i resolved that issue...but then 2 of my bluetooth virtual devices and 1 bluetooth audio device was showing errors of code 31 and code 10. i uninstalled my bluetooth audio device and when i restarted my PC it was not there i tried rebooting it many times but it still did nothing so i left it. i reinstalled qualcomm atheros bluetooth suite so everything started working...but it was not connecting any devices. i then noticed that i had also uninstalled qualcomm atheros bluetooth bus. but i saw what to do and downloaded it again from the add legacy hardware, from where i also reinstalled the bluetooth audio device. but it was still showing Code 31 error. so i went on Microsoft's website and they said to uninstall the device and reinstall it again, which i did and now i cannot find it anywhere even not in the add legacy hardware option.

i need help. my bluetooth is not working and i am a student so i really need it asap also i am a kid so i don't undrstand all the technicalities but i did download the qualcomm atheros bluetooth suite from lenovos official website and i downloaded all the drivers needed for my PC from the website. i am not able to find the download on either qualcomm's, lenovo's or microsoft's websie. pls help me.

    thank you

    :)

Option to play audio from Bluetooth device is missing from Settings

I want to stream audio via Bluetooth from my Android phone to my laptop running Windows 10 version 1703, but the option to play audio from phone via Bluetooth is not showing up on Settings>Bluetooth and Other Devices. Obviously, I have already paired my Android device with my laptop, and my device is visible on Other Devices, and listed as "Paired". I have also already checked my device properties on Devices and Printers, and on Service tab, "Advanced Audio" (A2DP profile) box is checked. Both my laptop and Android phone have Bluetooth 4.0 support, with my laptop also supporting HS extension, and my phone, LE (Low Energy).

I have no clue why Bluetooth audio playback isn't showing. How would I make Windows play audio via Bluetooth from my device? Thanks in advance.

    Hi Jiwan,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I understand how you feel when your Bluetooth is missing. We appreciate your effort, sorry for the inconvenience. Let us fix the issue.

Since you have tried the Hardware troubleshooting, setting it automatic and uninstalling and reinstalling the Bluetooth driver, I suggest you to install the driver in compatibility mode and check if the issue persists.

Follow the steps below on how to install driver in compatibility mode:

    1. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

    2. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.

    3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

    4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.

    5. Let the driver install and then check the functionality.

    Bluetooth Audio Device Missing!!!!

    Audio on connected Bluetooth devices

I'm having a weird problem that I can't figure out and it's driving me nuts.

All that I'm attempting to do is to listen to the podcasts that I have on my Android smart phone through the speakers on my computer via Bluetooth. This worked in Win 8, but since upgrading to 10 I'm encountering a problem.

The computer will pair with the phone with no issues. It will also connect with the device via Bluetooth, no issues there either. But I can't make it pull the audio from the phone. When connected, the audio still plays through the phone, and not the computer.

I've poked around audio settings, and can't find anything. I installed drivers specific to the phone, that did not work. I also went to Dell's site and installed Bluetooth drivers that are specific to my computer. No change.

    Any suggestions?
