    Bluetooth audio devices not detecting!

Hi i recently got a PC, connected bluetooth speakers just fine. Suddenly one day it wouldn’t connect anymore so i removed my speakers, re-paired it. Now it just detects as “other devices” instead of being under the “audio” tab. Tried it with other speakers and earphones it went to “other devices” too. I tried my bluetooth speakers on my phone and it works just fine. Tried troubleshooting.. Updating drivers; it states that it is up to date. Tried restarting bluetooth services. Tried system restoring to a couple days back. Even tried reformatting my whole PC. Nothin

    :)

  2. Bluetooth headset doesn't get detected as audio device automatically

    Win10 Pro x64 1809
    Headset: August EP650 (Bluetooth v 4.2)
Portable TV, Portable Freeview Digital TV, Handheld TV, Bluetooth Speakers, Bluetooth Headphones, Bluetooth Receiver, Bluetooth DAB Radio, Clock Radio, TV Aerial

    Bluetooth dongle: MPOW MPBH079AB (Bluetooth v 4.0)
Mpow ® | Match Your Smart Life

I've got the headphones paired via Bluetooth but when clicking on the sound icon in systray there's no option to quick switch.

To get audio through the headset I have to go to Devices and Printers, right-click the headset icon, select Control, then I get the following window:

I then have to choose Connect.

Only then does the option to switch audio appear in the sound pop-up

I'm not sure what is required to get the headphones detected automatically - is it a limitation of the headset or my Bluetooth dongle?

  3. Can't detect Bluetooth devices on Win 10

    Hi Zhenyi,

I realize the inconvenience you are experiencing with Bluetooth issue. I will certainly help you.

This issue might occur if the Bluetooth service is turned off, or due to missing or incompatible Bluetooth Adapter driver or incorrect Bluetooth settings.

I suggest you to refer the below Microsoft article on "Fix connections to Bluetooth audio devices and wireless displays" and try the mentioned troubleshooting steps and see if this helps in resolving the issue.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...bluetooth-audio-devices-and-wireless-displays

If the issue still persists, try the below steps and see if this helps.

I suggest you to install the latest Bluetooth driver from the computer manufacturer website.

If the driver for Windows 10 is unavailable, you may install the latest driver in compatibility mode.
Compatibility mode runs the program using settings from a previous version of Windows.

    Follow the below steps:

    • Right-click on the setup file of the driver and select
      Properties.
    • Select Compatibility tab.
    • Place a check mark next to Run this program in Compatibility mode and select
previous the version of Windows (Windows 8) from the drop down list.
    • Let the driver install and then check the functionality.

Write to us, if you need further assistance.

    Thank You.
