  1. Bluetooth audio doesn't play on all programs

I've had a wireless bluetooth headset for a while now. Very often, only some programs output sound when they're connected. For example, skype, zoom or any other sort of video / voice chat program only outputs sound from that program, and other programs such as chrome of a game doesn't produce any sound. When I disconnect from the call, usually the sound returns.

There are some programs, most of them being steam games, where for the life of me I can't get the program to output sound no matter what I do.

I can connect my headset to my PC through using a wired adaptor and all programs output sound perfectly find then. The same also happens when I'm using a dedicated wired headset so it's only a problem when I'm using wireless headphones.

I've tried updating sound drives and my PC but they're up to date and it doesn't fix anything.

Does anyone know a fix to this problem? Thanks in advance.

Windows Media Player doesn´t play podcasts - probs with aac audio and h.264 video

I tried the TCPMP yet - they removed the AAC plugin, so it doesn´t play them, too. I´ve been trying diverse downloads from different links to the TCPMP (0.72 RC1 and 0.71 as well), but none of them was with AAC :-(

I tried as well to install the ffmpeg plugin (for TCPMP), but that doesn´t work, too.

The messages after installing the TCPMP from the given URL http://picard.exceed.hu/tcpmp/ looks like this: "Video codec (AVC aka H.264) not supported by the player" and "MPEG4 AAC Audio decoder not included (...) because of intellectual
    property considerations" (whatever...)

    This is driving me mad!

So my last hope was to improve the Windows Media Player with the codec...

    Any suggestions??

Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

    Thanks again!!

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

I ran SeaTools. These are the results:

Bluetooth audio doesn't play on all programs

Can't select paired bluetooth speaker as sound output (Windows 10)

I just got a new bluetooth speaker, an Urbanears Stammen (concrete grey)

I can connect to it from my phone, using Bluetooth, and play back sound no problem. But I can't get my Windows 10 laptop (Dell XPS 15) to use it as a playback device.

I can connect and pair to it no problem, as you see in the screenshot below

It also shows up under bluetooth in the device manager. It's not listed under "Audio inputs and outputs", which I thought it should be, but I can see it under "Sound, video and game controllers".

But I can't select it as a playback device Bluetooth audio doesn't play on all programs :(

I found this relevant superuser question: Windows 10 computer paired w/ bluetooth speaker, but doesn't send music to speaker

And I tried the suggested steps listed there, but nothing helped Bluetooth audio doesn't play on all programs :(

Any further ideas I could try?
