Windows 10: Bluetooth Chops/Lags

I am facing a strange issue regarding Bluetooth of my Lenovo Yoga C740 which runs Windows 10. I have a bluetooth mouse and my galaxy earbuds connected to it. Whenever I am listening to something, the audio chops and lags and goes mad. Same is with the mouse pointer, I notice extreme lag. Sometimes, it gets better after a minute or so, otherwise I have to switch bluetooth off and then on again and it gets perfect for sometime and then again the same issue starts. I am extremely frustrated by it. My buds work perfectly fine with my phone, so I know its not the buds. Plus the bluetooth mouse also lags I bought this mouse recently, Its Logitech's latest MxMaster 3 so it further strengthens that its something to do with windows drivers. I have updated drivers and windows everything, all in vain. The problem persists.

Random lag spikes

We would like to know more about your lag issue:

• What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
• Does the lag occur in a particular game?

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.

Bluetooth audio lag on windows 10...

Add me to the list. My soundcard headphone jack went out and I just tried some bluetooth headphones only to discover the lag. What a bummer.

 

Bluetooth in windows 10

My computer specs are as listed in the profile. I think all of you guys are correct. I don't have built-in Bluetooth in mobo.

I contacted skull candy headphones and thy have told me if I do not have built-in Bluetooth, I would need a dongle which supports at least a2dp. I do not know what the heck that means. I have a feeling I would need more than a cheap dongle.

Anyone suggest some a2dp adapters. I searched but don't know what a2dp is so couldn't make a decision
