Windows 10: Bluetooth compatibility with Windows Server?

I'm not very tech savvy but I built out a computer 2 years ago and was given a Windows Server key from a friend so have been running that. I have Bluetooth built into my motherboard but was having issues with it so bought an external BT adapter recently but was still having problems. A simple Google search has lead me to believe that Windows Server doesn't support BT?

If anyone can provide help or links for this issue that would be much appreciated, thank you!

Bluetooth in windows 10

My computer specs are as listed in the profile. I think all of you guys are correct. I don't have built-in Bluetooth in mobo.

I contacted skull candy headphones and thy have told me if I do not have built-in Bluetooth, I would need a dongle which supports at least a2dp. I do not know what the heck that means. I have a feeling I would need more than a cheap dongle.

Anyone suggest some a2dp adapters. I searched but don't know what a2dp is so couldn't make a decision

I suggest you to run the Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Step 1: The Hardware Troubleshooter is an automated tool which checks the hardware connected to the computer for any known issues and provides the details on how to fix them. Follow these steps to run the troubleshooter.

  Click Start.
  
• 
  Type Troubleshooting in the search bar and press “Enter”.
  
• 
  In the “Troubleshooting” window, click on
  “View All” on the left pane.
  
• 
  Click on “Hardware and Devices”.
  
• 
  Click on “Advanced” and then click on “Run as Administrator”.
  
• 
  Click “Next” and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.
  

Step 2: You can also update the Bluetooth drivers via Device manager and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + X key and select
  Device Manager.
• Check for Bluetooth drivers.
• Right click on it and select Update.
• Restart your system after performing the steps and check if it helps.

Step 3: Download and save the AMD driver on the desktop.

Install the driver in compatibility mode.

  Right click on the driver, and click on
  Properties.
  
• 
  Go to the Compatibility tab.
  
• 
  Check the box for Run this program in compatibility mode for:
  
• 
  Select Windows 8.1
  (or any compatible OS version) in the list of Operating systems.

  Click OK.

  Double-click the driver file to install the driver and follow the onscreen instructions.
  

Reboot your computer.

Edit: This is a dongle with old BT version I see now, but I'm sure you can find a Asus BT4.0 version.

@aasim1111 I have this one, it doesn't show that it supports A2DP in the specs but I think it'll work, otherwise send a mail to Asus and ask.
