Windows 10: Bluetooth connect to Megaboom 3

I have been trying to connect to a Megaboom 3 speaker from my desktop PC with windows 10. It will pair up to it but will not connect. Message says, it will not connect make sure device is still discoverable which it is because I just paired to it. It will work to my android phone. I have contacted the service department of megaboom and they had me try various things like resetting the megaboom, pairing to it and rebooting the PC and many other things. None of that has worked. They said they would pass it along to the next support level but I have heard nothing from them since. I have sent num

Open your Control Panel.

Select Hardware and Sound.

Select Devices and Printers.

Select Bluetooth Devices.

Click Add a device.

Select MEGABOOM from the list of devices, and then click Next.

UE Megaboom audio quality poor/no audio

Hello,

I am trying to connect my UE Megaboom to my Dell Latitude 5480 laptop running Windows 10 1903 but am experiencing a few issues. First, when I initially connected, it discovered my device as a headset and my audio quality was very poor and audio was quiet.
I did some research and tried multiple things to try and fix it. Here's what I found:

1. My bluetooth drivers are up to date and Windows is up to date.

2. I read some forums that said this is a common problem when connecting wireless speakers to Windows 10 and can be remedied by disabling "Handsfree Telephony" in 'Control Panel -> Devices and Printers -> UE Megaboom -> Services'. When I disabled this, the
speaker no longer showed as an audio device but was still connected to the system. When I tried to disconnect it, I got a "Driver Error".

3. I found that my Bluetooth A2DP Source had some driver issues. I went on YouTube and ran this fix: elevated command prompt -> "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" then ran "sfc
/scannow" (it did find corrupted files and fixed them) then I rebooted. Upon boot, the speaker reconnected but no audio was coming out of it.

4. I verified the sound output was "UE Megaboom Stereo" and my volume levels were okay. I even tried re-enabling "Handsfree Telephony" and tried playing sound through the "Headset"
output. Sound would come out of the "Headset" output (although very poor quality) but would not from the "Stereo" output. The Stereo output is set as the default playback device. I've restarted my computer multiple times and disconnected/reconnected my UE
Megaboom via Bluetooth multiple times as well.

Has anyone else experienced issues close to mine and if so, what can I try to get good quality sound through my UE Megaboom?
