Windows 10: Bluetooth connection btwn Android 11 phone & Windows 11 laptop continues to drop.

I have an Android 11 phone with Bluetooth 5.0/5.1 capability and I have tried to connect it to an Acer Nitro 5 laptop with Windows 11 22H2, the latest drivers via Windows Update and a Mediatek RZ616 Bluetooth adapter. The phone and the laptop will pair successfully, but when I try to connect them, the connection attempt will be successful for a few brief moments, and then connection will drop. The phone and laptop will attempt to reconnect for 2-3 times before they cease and the connection remains disconnected. I removed the Bluetooth profile from both the phone and laptop, paired them again a

I rebooted both devices and tried to connect them again -> same results. I have run the troubleshooter for Bluetooth in Windows and tried to connect again -> same result. I installed Ubuntu 22.04 LTS on the same laptop and I was able to successfully connect the laptop to the phone and maintain the connection.

Does anyone have any other suggestions to resolve this issue? If I was able to resolve my other issues with using Linux on this laptop, I would stick with Linux.

If your Bluetooth has frequent disconnections, there may be compatibility issues between your Bluetooth device and the latest version of Windows 11, such as Bluetooth protocol compatibility.

You can start by trying the following scenario of modifying the Bluetooth service. Check if the problem persists. Then I will continue to judge the cause of the problem for you.

Enter the printer and device, right-click your bluetooth phone device, check all the Bluetooth sevices, reconnect and try again.

Per your suggestion, I checked the phone device properties and all of the available options were already checked. Not able to maintain a connection between both devices, they reattempt to connect but the connection keeps dropping.
