Windows 10: Bluetooth connection issue - my Android phone to my HP laptop Windows 11

I have tried for a couple of days to connect my phone and my laptop using Bluetooth in order to transfersome photos to my laptop. I've paired the two devices and settings on each device shows the other device.However when I try to connect to the laptop from my phone I see it trying to connect and on the laptop Isee it in devices / Bluetooth as connected. It stays this way for ~5/6 secs and then shows a disconnected.My phone then shows this a well...My phone - Moto G power 2022HP laptop using Windows 11 - V22h2 - updates are current I have tried the following:1. Bluetooth connection btwn Android 11 phone & Windows 11 laptop continues to drop.

I have an Android 11 phone with Bluetooth 5.0/5.1 capability and I have tried to connect it to an Acer Nitro 5 laptop with Windows 11 22H2, the latest drivers via Windows Update and a Mediatek RZ616 Bluetooth adapter. The phone and the laptop will pair successfully, but when I try to connect them, the connection attempt will be successful for a few brief moments, and then connection will drop. The phone and laptop will attempt to reconnect for 2-3 times before they cease and the connection remains disconnected. I removed the Bluetooth profile from both the phone and laptop, paired them again and tried again to establish a connection, but the results are the same. I rebooted both devices and tried to connect them again -> same results. I have run the troubleshooter for Bluetooth in Windows and tried to connect again -> same result. I installed Ubuntu 22.04 LTS on the same laptop and I was able to successfully connect the laptop to the phone and maintain the connection.

Does anyone have any other suggestions to resolve this issue? If I was able to resolve my other issues with using Linux on this laptop, I would stick with Linux.

 

Android Bluetooth can't pair / connect to Windows 10

Hi, Im having trouble pairing / connecting my S9 to Windows desktop/laptops with bluetooth.

I see the device on my phone and go trough pairing but when I'm finished on desktop/laptops it finishes with success and on phone it saiz could not pair. Sometimes it ends with adding the device to known
list but when I want to connect phone to desktop / laptops it can't connect.

I've tried this on 2 compleately different laptops and one desktop pc with wifi / bluetooth card without any luck. The phone connects to other bluetooth devices eg. gopro or bluetooth headphones without any
problems. Also windows machines connects to the mentioned devices just fine.

As troubleshooting steps I've tried suggested things in other threads as clearing all caches and files stored from bluetooth android services reseting network settings but without any luck. I've updated all
bluetooth drivers, tried wiping cache partition. I've also triad it on other smartphones with different versions of android but the issue is the same.
