Windows 10: Bluetooth connectivity driver issues with Dell XPS 15 9570

Hi there,


I'm experiencing issues with the bluetooth driver on a Dell XPS 9570.


I've attempted the following:

uninstalled/reinstalled the driver.

downloaded the latest driver and installed it

Updated the BIOS to the latest fimeware


The issue still perists.

The current issue is this, In Device Manager the driver shows an error code 43 and the bluetooth toggle in Windows is not available. I remeber having a similiar issue with this machine in the past, but we managed to get it resolved by doing the above. The only thing that changed this time is upgrading to the latest version of Windows 10 20H0.

DELL XPS 17 L702X loses bluetooth connection

Hi Paven!

I am sorry but I tried all the steps you suggested with no luck getting Microsoft 5000 Bluetooth mouse to stay conected on the DELL XPS.

It could be that an updated Intel Centrino driver is needed but in going to Intel they say there is no driver update available, albeit DELL does say that this particular machine is not going to be supported under Windows 10.

I also own a DELL Precision 6800 and the new Intel driver did work for the Bluetooth problem on that machine.

I guess we'll just have to wait until a driver is available.

I will also say that I tried to connect an MX Anywhere Bluetooth mouse to the DELL Xps with no luck. It would not even pair or see the mouse.

I have been able to use Bluetooth headphones with the XPS.

Cannot reconnect bluetooth mouse after laptop wakes from being idle

Thanks for the reply and appreciate your efforts to work on this issue.

Suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the Bluetooth driver to check if that helps.

Download the latest driver from the Dell website and save it on the desktop.

You can also run the
Bluetooth troubleshooter to check if that helps.

Steps to uninstall the drivers:

1. Open Device Manager,
   
2. Expand Bluetooth driver.
   
3. Right-click (or tap and hold) the Bluetooth driver and select Uninstall.
   
4. Follow the on-screen steps to complete the uninstallation.
   
5. Once the driver is removed, install the driver that you would have previously saved and then finally restart the computer.

Dell XPS 9570 Touchpad not working

Hi,

I have the new Dell XPS 9570. The touchpad was working fine but after some drivers got updated all gestures and precision tracking has stopped. Now only the left and right click works (no scrolling, no multi-gesture features etc).

Tried uninstalling the drivers and restarting etc. Where can I find the specific drivers for this touchpad?
