  1. Bluetooth device unable to play audio

So regularly for some strange reason, everytime I connected my bluetooth device before, it *just* says "connected"I cant even upload images so ill just try to describe itAs I said before it just says "connected" without the "with mic, audio" so it legit meant nothing when I connected via the actual bluetooth menu. Everytime I had to forget the device, go to sound settings, and then specifically add a new output device from there for it to actually connect with mic and audio.Recently as of yesterday, it has gotten weird. Even if I connect it via the sound settings page, it still wouldn't work.

    :)

  2. Unable to play audio via bluetooth

Hi all, I've been recently trying to play audio from my laptop to my phone, and vice versa but have been unable to patch through even though the Bluetooth connection has been made. I have checked the playback settings and my phone was not even on the list?
Does that mean I am no longer able to play audio through Bluetooth devices? I have never had this problem previously. Is there an additional driver to be installed or updated or something? Cheers and thanks in advance!

Option to play audio from Bluetooth device is missing from Settings

I want to stream audio via Bluetooth from my Android phone to my laptop running Windows 10 version 1703, but the option to play audio from phone via Bluetooth is not showing up on Settings>Bluetooth and Other Devices. Obviously, I have already paired my Android device with my laptop, and my device is visible on Other Devices, and listed as "Paired". I have also already checked my device properties on Devices and Printers, and on Service tab, "Advanced Audio" (A2DP profile) box is checked. Both my laptop and Android phone have Bluetooth 4.0 support, with my laptop also supporting HS extension, and my phone, LE (Low Energy).

I have no clue why Bluetooth audio playback isn't showing. How would I make Windows play audio via Bluetooth from my device? Thanks in advance.

Bluetooth device unable to play audio

    Audio on connected Bluetooth devices

I'm having a weird problem that I can't figure out and it's driving me nuts.

All that I'm attempting to do is to listen to the podcasts that I have on my Android smart phone through the speakers on my computer via Bluetooth. This worked in Win 8, but since upgrading to 10 I'm encountering a problem.

The computer will pair with the phone with no issues. It will also connect with the device via Bluetooth, no issues there either. But I can't make it pull the audio from the phone. When connected, the audio still plays through the phone, and not the computer.

I've poked around audio settings, and can't find anything. I installed drivers specific to the phone, that did not work. I also went to Dell's site and installed Bluetooth drivers that are specific to my computer. No change.

    Any suggestions?
