  1. Bluetooth device won't connected to PC if was previously paired

if I want to connect a gamepad to my PC via blueooth, I have to go into settings and manually remove it and perform the pairing process once moreit does not allow a device that was already paired to connect to it directly, it only connects to a device that is trying to pair to a new device than is not already on my wireless device listsI'm not sure if the hardware is faulty, but I have selective boot enabled

Impossible to connect to previously paired bluetooth device

I recently bought a USB bluetooth adaptor (Bluetooth® USB Adapter, version 4.0 C2 + EDR | Hama) to connect a controller (Dualshock 4) to my desktop PC. I managed to pair it, and it worked well. The issue is that whenever the
controller goes into sleep mode (or is turned off, or the PC is turned off, etc... i.e. whenever the connection is lost), it's impossible to make it connect back to the PC. I turn on the controller and use the button to make it detectable, but it does not
automatically connect to the PC like it should. It does not appear either in the notification center in the "connect" tab.

Deleting the controller from the bluetooth device list and pairing it again makes it connect again, but only until the connection is lost, and then we go back to the original problem. Of course I don't want to have to do that whenever I want to use the controller...

    I tried:

    - Setting all bluetooth services to "Automatic"

    - Updating all drivers (even though the driver for this particular dongle is already included in Windows 10 (or so they say in the manual))

    - Deleting the device and pairing it again (many times...)

    - Changing the USB port

    - Running the troubleshooter

Nothing worked. I am kind of desperate here, so any help would be appreciated.

  3. Bluetooth audio headset not recognized by Windows - won't pair/connect

    Hi,

I've run into a problem recently with pairing my wireless Bose Soundsport headphones to my PC. Up until recently, the headphones paired and worked fine with my PC and iPhone simultaneously. I have 2 pairs of these exact headphones, and neither of them connect to this PC. However, they still connect to any other device.

The problem I am experiencing has persisted ever since I installed a graphics driver update via the GeForce Experience application (version 397.64, released on 05/09/2018). I updated this driver as a result of a few Memory_Management BSOD's and crashes while playing Fortnite.

Before anyone says, "Have you tried a troubleshooter / reinstall bluetooth drivers / make device discoverable / etc..." , please know that I've gone through the basic steps to solve problems like these. The only thing I haven't done is revert to a previous graphics driver - as I'd rather not do that. From a few hours of research, I haven't seen a problem similar to this.

    What I Am Experiencing:
    - I've paired and un-paired this device many times in the past. So I know the procedure.
    - When I set the headphones to "Ready to Pair", the device name is expected to appear in the device list after clicking "Add Bluetooth or other device" in Windows Bluetooth settings.
    - Instead, I only see an audio device called "Headphone" that, when clicked, will just say "Connecting..." indefinitely (see attached image).

In the past, the "Add Bluetooth or other device" would display the name of the device (Bose Soundsport), whereas now it only displays "Headphone". Why can my PC only see the headphones?

No sound as PC is connected to a bluetooth device.

    Hi Samuel,

As per your description, I understand that there is no sound in your PC as it shows that it is currently connected to a Bluetooth device which you do not recognize.

Before we proceed, I would like you to provide the information stated below:

    1. Have you connected your PC to Bluetooth speakers?

    2. Do you recognize the device that is connected to your PC?

    3. Does the Bluetooth device display under Control Panel > Devices and Printers?

For now, I suggest that you perform the steps below and check if you will be able to remove the device in question.

To remove the device from your PC, follow the steps below

    • Select Start > Settings > Devices >
      Bluetooth.
    • Select the paired Bluetooth device that you want to remove > Remove device >
      Yes.

Your reply is very important to ensure that we provide the appropriate resolution. Do provide the above information so that we can proceed further.

    Regards
