  1. Bluetooth Devices appear and dissapear, even when I remove them

Before trying to suggest the usual, I've tried everything, device manager, activating bluetooth support service, I even bought a new dongle, I've used this dongle before and its worked very well, until now. It appears that two Beoplay H9i's appear in my devices, one has the headphone logo and one has that like tablet and phone logo on it, usually the headphone one connects to my pc with voice and music, and the other does absolutely nothing, so it appears that that one isn't connecting to something but I can't imagine what. It connects to my Beoplay E8 2.0's just fine but its doing things that I never even seen, every time I just open the "connect a device" screen the headphone one just appears from nowhere in my devices, even before it even has a device to connect with, whenever I open the computer both Beoplay H9i's connect immediately out of nowhere, I need to know how to get rid of these permanently and connect the Beoplay H9i with the voice and music. The only reasoning I can possibly think of is that one of my dongles can connect with the voice and music and one cannot but that still doesn't explain why these devices just appear after I remove them, even removing them from the device manager. The dongle is an Insignia 4.0 Bluetooth Dongle.

    :)

  2. Try3 Win User

    Cannot use bluetooth device

1 Pairing is done in Settings, Devices
1.1 You click on Add Bluetooth or other device
    1.2 You choose Bluetooth
1.3 If there is a pairing button on the bluetooth device itself then you press that now. You need to check the instructions for your bluetooth device to see how to do this - several automatically go into pairing mode when they switch on, others have a button that needs to be pressed for, say, 5 seconds.
1.4 The computer detects all available bluetooth devices and you select yours from the list. If yours is not on the list then Windows could not detect it.
1.5 It connects - pairing includes connecting
1.6 The computer sounds a buzz in the earpiece then displays Your device is ready to go and you click on Done
1.7 The device is shown in the devices list below the subheading Audio and it shows it as connected
1.8 The device should also appear in Control panel, Sounds, Playback tab
1.9 The device should also appear in Control panel, Devices & printers
1.10 {I just paired some bluetooth earphones as I typed so I could make sure these notes were correct} You use a music player and the sound comes out of the bluetooth earphones

2 If this is not happening for you then go to Contol panel, Devices & printers
2.1 Right-click on the device & select Remove device
2.2 You can now try pairing from scratch again
2.3 Several other users have reported that only removing the device with Bluetooth command line tools - BluetoothInstaller allowed them to re-pair again [see xzion's guidance below]
2.4 Yet others reported that only the KeithM code or Bungee's guidance worked for them [see below]

3 Where is this all going wrong for you?
[I assume we are definitely talking about bluetooth headphones/earphones. I understand that WiFi ones do also exist.]

  4. Bluetooth Devices appear and dissapear, even when I remove them

Bluetooth headphone doesn't appear in devices list

    Hi,

My Bluetooth headphones was working without any issues on my windows 10 laptop. Suddenly it would not connect so I removed it from devices to put again but it would not appear in the list !!

It is working perfectly with my iPhone so I know the issue is not in the headphones, and my pc shows other Bluetooth devices in the area so I know that the hardware is working.

I tried the following troubleshoot steps:

    1- run the Bluetooth troubleshooter

2-disable Bluetooth device ( from device manager ) and enable again

    3-remove Bluetooth driver and restart

4-update all the showing drivers under bluetooth

After all that it still doesn't show in the list
