    Bluetooth Disappears from notification center in several conditions


    My Laptop when wakes from sleep mode or when i close and open my Laptops lid My Bluetooth option disappears from Notification center, Sometimes even i restart the laptop it is not shown back and i have to restart it several times to start the services back for Bluetooth and even when i manually try to restart Bluetooth service the restart process never got completed and eventually i have to restart the laptop, Mainly i face this problem when i close and open my laptops lid, and in power options it is set to sleep when lid is closed so help me out with this irritating problem!!!!!!

    Bluetooth tile disappears from Notification Center

    Edited my title to reflect what I am first trying to solve. Does anyone have an idea why the Bluetooth tile completely disappears from the Notification Center? Other than a restart is there any way to get it back? Thank you.

    edit: Was able to use my bluetooth connected device by going through "Playback Devices". After a while the Bluetooth tile reappeared in the Notification Area. Still isn't right though.

    Bluetooth tile disappears from Notification Center

    Having problems with Bluetooth on my Acer laptop with Win 10 AU. Let's start with the first problem which I think makes every other problem happen.

    The Bluetooth tile on the notification center disappears, it is completely gone. I can still find Bluetooth through settings and even if it is set to "on" the tile does not appear.

    Assuming that you have a Bluetooth card, run these checks -

    Do you have a Bluetooth entry in Settings, Devices?

    If not then Windows does not think you have a Bluetooth card. Check Device manager for a Bluetooth group.

    1. If neither of these is there then you do not have a Bluetooth card or you have disabled Bluetooth in the BIOS. You should check your BIOS for a relevant entry but BIOSes vary so I cannot suggest where such a setting might be. You could seek advice from your computer maker or their user forum.
    2. If one is there but not the other then you might be able to get it working correctly by reinstalling the driver from your Computer / Bluetooth card maker's website.

    You can customise the items shown in Action center but Bluetooth, if it is enabled, is generally put there by default. As explained above, you can customise what is shown by playing around with Settings, System, Notifications. You can add more entries or you can drag off existing entries or you can drag existing entries around to get them in the layout you prefer.
